Follow Your Dreams

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore, Dream, Discover. –Mark Twain

My husband and I were talking about the fact that I am finally getting a book published after all the years of writing. At times I didn’t try very hard to contact publishing companies and editors, partly because of a fear of rejection and feeling that my writing wasn’t “good enough”. My husband has always encouraged me to write and that it was good enough (even though he called my book “trash”, but that’s another story:) ), and if I had a dream I had to go after it, it wasn’t going to just fall in my lap. Well, I did go for it and now it is happening. A Promise Made comes out soon and hopefully it is just the first of many. Take Mark Twain’s advise “Explore, Dream, Discover”. Pursue those dreams!
