My review:

I enjoy Tracie Peterson’s writing. This particular story was the third is a series and I didn’t enjoy it as much as I usually do. I hadn’t read the other two books very recently, and though I remembered some of the characters and the basic story line, it did get a little confusing at times. I think that if someone tried to read this as a stand alone book they would be disappointed.

I like that she weaved in the characters from other stories, but trying to bring along the too much of the storyline from the other books didn’t work well.

On a positive note, I did like the characters and I could see the growth process that they went through in the book. I would give this a three out of five stars.

Bethany House gave me a copy of the book in exchange for my writing a review.
